Benefits of Destination Weddings

  • They're Virtually Stress-Free

Destination weddings are simpler and faster to plan than a traditional wedding. Many resorts have full-time wedding coordinators on staff that are familiar with the country's marriage license requirements. They're also able to offer wedding packages that take care of all of your ceremony essentials such as the photographer, cake, officiant, decor and more! If you don't want to get married at a resort, you have the option of hiring a stateside wedding planner who specializes in destination weddings, contact a wedding planner in the town you plan to wed, or start planning early and do it yourself. Utilizing the services of a wedding coordinator makes the logistics of pulling off a beautiful destination wedding and reception are out of your hands, step off of the plane, sign the necessary paperwork and they'll take care of the rest!

  • They're Cost Effective

Most resorts offer FREE destination wedding packages, which are a basic package that can be upgraded to add whatever you desire. Some resorts run specials that allow the bride and groom to stay free. The cost of your vacation package includes: your vacation, wedding and honeymoon at a fraction of the cost for a traditional wedding and honeymoon. As the guest list shrinks, so will your cost. Alternatively, as the guest list shrinks, you may be able to spend more for a lavish event.

  • Start the Honeymoon Sooner

The honeymoon can start as soon as you're pronounced husband and wife, as you're already at your destination. You even have the option to stay at the destination a few days after all of your guest return home.

  • Great Wedding Photos

Imagine your wedding photos looking like they came straight from a magazine. Destination weddings make perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

  • One-on-One Time with Guests

Destination weddings tend to be smaller more intimate events that last a few days, which gives you plenty of time to spend with your guest. Though not everyone invited will be able to travel due to scheduling and budgetary concerns, those who can attend interact more with each other and their hosts than at traditional weddings.

  • Once in a Lifetime Reunion

Imagine having close family and friends from each stage of your life in, Paradise celebrating you and your love. With guest coming from around the country, your wedding will not only be a vacation but also a reunion that will last for a few days.
